Why
How matching works.
And why nobody can pay to be first.
Most places that help you find someone are auctions. The order you see is the order somebody paid for, and the words “sponsored” or “featured” are the only clue. Coren does not have that mechanism, and it never will.
What decides the order
Three things: how completely a business has described what it does, whether it has been verified, and how people have actually responded to it. Nothing else is an input, and money is not one of them.
Why one match, not a list
A list moves the work back to you. Twenty options with four stars each is not an answer, it is homework. Coren asks a few questions and gives you the one that fits, because that is what you wanted when you started looking.
What we never see
Your searches are not attached to your name. Coren learns the shape of what suits you without learning who you are. If you delete your account, that shape goes with it.
